Anno 2205 Orbital Station Layout π
This is the most common and efficient starter layout. You create a long central corridor of connectors (the spine) and attach research wings (the ribs) perpendicular to it. Easy to expand and navigate.
However, if you're aiming for the 1,200 Expertise achievement, you'll need to:
Anno 2205 is a city-building and management simulation game developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte. The game is set in a futuristic world where players build and manage their own metropolis on Earth and in space.
** don't Fear Demolition:** Moving modules in orbit refunds a portion of your resources. If a sector of your station becomes too hot or inefficient, delete the bottlenecked corridors and rebuild using a wider layout. Never leave a factory or synthesizer operating at base efficiency if you have the space.
Later in the game, heat pipes become essential for transferring thermal energy from "Hot" industrial modules to "Cold" agricultural ones.
Would you like a (printable) or the exact module counts for a specific population tier (e.g., 50,000 Executives)? However, if you're aiming for the 1,200 Expertise
Temperature is the most critical factor to consider. Each workshop has an optimal temperature range. If it gets too hot or too cold, its Expertise output drops. Every workshop and module you place generates heat, which affects not only itself but also all other workshops connected to it.
Minimize export chains
With your astronauts on the way, you can begin constructing the station itself, but first, you must understand the three pillars of its operation: Temperature, Expertise, and Modules.
These act as the "roads" of your station. They transport power, heat, and life support.
