Vitality Flare, Deathchill Aura, Distortion Wave. Strengths: Massive life leech keeps you alive constantly.
: Skill points are heavily divided between pets and self-buffs. 3. Paladin (Storm + Defense) Role : Elemental Tank Key Skills : Squall, Storm Surge, Batter
Balanced builds requiring specific gear to reach maximum potential.
Stick to builds that require only two main attributes (e.g., Strength/Dexterity for physical, or Intelligence/Dexterity for casters). Splitting your points three ways makes your character weak across the board.
The Paladin is an incredibly safe caster/melee hybrid. Storm's Squall skill reduces enemy visual range and impairs their aim, meaning ranged enemies cannot hit you. Defense provides the ultimate mitigation tools. Combined, you can stand in the middle of mobs, casting lightning and freezing enemies, while absorbing any damage that manages to slip through. You fight alongside your pets. Summon your wolves, buff yourself and them with your auras, and charge into the fray. Use your heal strategically to keep both you and your pets alive during tough encounters.
The alpha strike nuke.
You are a high-risk, high-reward predator. Your core gameplay involves stacking cooldown reduction (CDR) and using your devastating Lethal Strike to annihilate bosses. Against groups, you need to be methodical, using your bow to pull and pick off enemies one by one, as getting surrounded is a death sentence.
The A-Tier contains potent builds that are just a half-step below. The is a prime example. Combining Hunting’s "Study Prey" (which reduces enemy resistance) with Dream’s "Psionic Beam" (a high-damage projectile) creates one of the game’s best ranged attackers. The Haruspex has excellent damage and dodge-based defenses, but it lacks the Conqueror’s raw physical mitigation; a single lucky hit from a Giant or a pack of Machae archers can be fatal. Similarly, the Elementalist (Earth + Storm) offers some of the highest area-of-effect damage in the game, melting entire screens with "Volcanic Orb" and "Lightning Bolt." However, its survivability depends entirely on killing before being killed, making it fragile in close quarters.
Remember: The most overpowered build is the one you enjoy grinding with for 100 hours. But if you want to see the End of Titan Quest on Legendary, stick to the S-Tier.
Dual-wield swords (Warfare) + Lethal Strike (Rogue). You stack Bleeding damage, which ignores armor. Splitting your points three ways makes your character
