Yape Fake Github Link Free
GitHub has strict policies against malware. However, the platform is massive (over 100 million developers). Scammers often deploy a "Malware drive-by"—they upload the malicious file, wait 6 hours for victims to download it, and then delete the repository before GitHub’s automated scanners flag it.
Recently, a new, sophisticated scam vector has emerged that combines open-source coding with social engineering:
The "Yape fake GitHub link" scam typically targets users through phishing emails or social media messages disguised as official GitHub security alerts, job offers, or developer fund notifications

The modus operandi is deceptively simple yet highly effective. Fraudsters visit merchants or service providers, select goods or services, and then “pay” using the fake Yape application. They show the merchant a screenshot or notification indicating that the payment has been completed. Under the pressure of a busy sales environment or a deliberately created distraction, the merchant may not verify the transaction directly in their own Yape account.
Enable fingerprint or facial recognition for logging into Yape and authorizing transactions. This is much harder for overlay malware to spoof compared to typed PINs.
