Method 2: The Steam Client This is the most reliable way to force a language override. Open Steam and right-click on Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Properties: Properties (Свойства) at the bottom of the list. Civilization VI has two separate language settings: one for the in-game text (menus, civilopedia, leader dialogue) and one for audio (voiceovers). This guide focuses on changing the text from Russian to English, but we’ll cover audio as well. Do not use Word
